Replacing a former cottage, this three-storey endoscopy facility delivers a modern, patient-focused medical centre. The building houses two state-of-the-art endoscopy theatres, eight bed day stay recovery area, specialist consulting rooms, all designed to meet complex clinical needs while creating a calm, welcoming environment. A two-storey atrium floods the interior with natural light, connecting reception, pre-op, and recovery areas on the ground floor to consulting rooms and staff spaces above.
Features like vertical louvres that soften interior light, along with carefully planned structural and fire safety measures, work together to support patient comfort and safety. While future-focused planning ensures the centre can adapt and expand.
The site presented several commercial challenges, including close-proximity neighbouring buildings and piled basement walls, requiring precise upfront estimating and careful cost monitoring throughout construction.
